On one hand, the claim is that Reishi boosts the immune system. On the other, that it is good for rheumatoid arthritis, a condition caused by an over-active immune system.

There seems to be a contradiction here- one of significant consequence to sufferers of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

    Any thoughts?

Reishi is an immunomodulator, which means it improves immune system function by bringing it to a state of balance (just as it works for both high & low blood pressure). Several people I know with RA & Lupus are using Reishi tincture with great results.
